How Can I Be Saved?
It’s the desire of God and of this ministry that you and your family come to know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Jesus said that He is "the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no one comes to the Father except through Him."
You need to know that God wants you to be saved. This means that the Lord wants you to be set free from the penalty of sin, which is death and hell, and He wants you to be delivered from the power of sin, which is freedom from bondage, fear and defeat. No matter what’s holding you back from reaching your God given potential; for some its depression, for others its addictions or other life challenges, Jesus Christ can set you free.
Yet in order for you to tap into the promises of God the very first thing you must do is repent. To repent means that you change your mind about living life your own way and deciding that you will now live life the way that God says to in the Bible. This includes asking God with sincerity to forgive you for all of your sins and to give you a new life with Him. Next, you are to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. He came born of a virgin and lived a sinless life and then died on the cross for your all your sins and later rose again. Lastly you have to confess Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. You should never be ashamed to tell others that you have given your heart and soul to Him.
If you recognize that you are lost in sin and want to experience a new beginning in Christ it all starts by asking the Lord to forgive you and to bless you with a new life. All you need to do is pray this prayer below with your whole entire heart. Say:
“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and that my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry for the way I have been living my life. I know that I have not been living for you but for myself. I choose this day with all of my heart and soul to turn away from my sinful ways and live for you. Please forgive me for all my sins and wrong doings. I believe in my heart that Your Son, Jesus Christ died on the cross for all my sins. He resurrected from the dead on the third day. He is now alive, and hears this prayer. I now invite Jesus Christ to be the Lord and the Savior of my life and ask you Lord to write my name in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me to obey You, and to do Your will. I thank you that you have heard me and I am grateful that you saved me. I pray all this in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.”
If you decided to repent of your sins and receive Christ in your life today, we rejoice with you and welcome you into the family of God. Now, as a way of growing closer to the Lord, the Bible tells you to follow up on your commitment. This is why you should quickly tell someone else, preferably a strong Christian you know about your new found faith in Christ. Get baptized as soon as possible as commanded by the Word of God. Spend time with the Lord each day by praying to Him and reading the Bible. The Gospel of John is the best place to begin. Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Scriptures. If you fall into temptation make sure that you ask the Lord right away to forgive you. Seek fellowship with other followers of Christ and make sure to find a local church where you can plug in and grow and worship God.
If you have said the prayer on this card today, and/or have rededicated your life to Christ, please give us a call at (864) 285-1745. We are excited for you and would love to hear about it. Thank you for your obedience to His Spirit and may God bless you from this day forward above your ability to contain it!
